As a cutter, you'll be responsible for carefully selecting and cutting the fabrics and foams that will be used to upholster the furniture. This is a critical step in the process, and one that requires a high level of precision and attention to detail. You'll need to be able to work with a wide range of materials, from the softest velvets to the toughest leathers, and be able to create complex patterns and shapes with ease.
As an upholsterer, you'll be responsible for covering the furniture with the fabric and foam that the cutter has prepared. This requires a deep understanding of the properties of different materials, as well as an eye for design and aesthetics. You'll need to be able to work with a wide range of fabrics and foams, and be able to create a flawless finish that is both beautiful and durable.
As a sewer, you'll be responsible for creating the soft furnishings that will complete the piece, including cushions, throw pillows, and more. This requires a high level of skill and creativity, as well as an understanding of design and aesthetics. You'll need to be able to work with a wide range of fabrics and threads, and be able to create complex patterns and shapes that enhance the overall look and feel of the piece.
As a CNC operator, you'll be responsible for using computer-controlled machinery to cut and shape the furniture frames. This requires a deep understanding of woodworking techniques, as well as an ability to work with a wide range of materials, from solid wood to engineered wood products. You'll need to be able to create complex shapes and designs with ease, using advanced software and machinery to ensure the highest level of precision and accuracy.
As a woodworker, you'll be responsible for creating the furniture frames from scratch, using only the finest materials and the most advanced techniques. This requires a high level of skill and expertise, as well as a deep understanding of design and aesthetics. You'll need to be able to work with a wide range of tools and techniques, from traditional joinery to advanced milling and shaping processes.

4 Day Work Weeks
At TLS By Design, we prioritize a healthy work-life balance for our employees. You'll work Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4pm, with weekends off. Our CORE Team Member Bonus rewards you for following our CORE Values and showing up to work, with an additional $2 per hour equivalent bonus for each period worked.
